The South Carolina highlands

Towering majestically over the rolling hills of the Piedmont, the Blue Ridge Mountains inspire every nature lover. The Cherokee Indians already called the imposing mountain range “blue hills of God”. The city of Greenville is located in northwestern South Carolina and is also the county seat of the Greenville County of the same name. Seneca

The city of Seneca is located in Oconee County at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is also the largest city in Oconee County. It was founded at the beginning of the 19th century and is nicknamed the “City of Smiles”. There are a variety of historic buildings and districts in and around Seneca that have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Seneca Historic District, the Ram Cat Alley Historic District, and the Newry Historic District. Ram Cat Alley has many unique shops and restaurants for visitors, and the Seneca Historic District is home to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.
