The George Mason University Department of Social Work is located in Fairfax, Virginia and is part of the College of Health and Human Services. The department has a long-standing commitment to social justice education and research, with an emphasis on social work practice in a global context. The department offers an undergraduate degree in Social Work, as well as a Master’s in Social Work, which prepares students for professional practice.
