If you love to move around and experience foreign cultures, we have put together a journey that suits you. You cycle for a couple of days at Sarawak in Borneo and then relax on the paradise island of Tioman where you can also go diving and snorkelling.

During the eras, you are offered the opportunity to experience Borneo’s very special culture and with a little luck you can also experience a bit of Borneo’s culture and see the fascinating orangutans at Semenggoh Wildlife Center. Day 1: Departure from Scandinavia
The trip today goes to Borneo and the city of Kuching, one of Asia’s absolutely nicest cities and also the largest city in the province of Sarawak on Borneo.
Day 2: Arrival in Kuching
You will be picked up at the airport and driven to your guesthouse. Once you have checked in and arrived, you can explore the surrounding area on foot. You are within walking distance of pleasant Chinatown, where you will find a large selection of restaurants and bars. It is also nice to explore the southern part of the city, if you cross the river by boat.
Day 3: Travel to Bako National Park
Today you will take an hour-long drive and then go by boat to Bako National Park, which is one of the nicest places to see animals in Sarawak. Keep an eye out for the many species of monkeys and birds. There are various nature trails to follow and you can take a dip in the sea if you need to cool off. You will return to Kuching in the late afternoon. ( F , L )
Day 4: Bike ride to Siniawan
Today, a 30-kilometer bike ride awaits. You cycle off-road and explore old gold mines in an incomparable landscape with spectacular limestone cliffs. Along the way there are planned visits to two impressive caves. The destination for the day is the cozy town of Siniawan, which is full of charming wooden houses. ( F , L , M )
Day 5: Bike ride to Semenggoh
Today’s bike ride is about 43 kilometers. The day starts early with local breakfast (classic noodles) at one of the city’s oldest cafes. The journey goes through beautiful fields and through villages. A stop for a little drink before it’s time to visit the Semenggoh Wildlife Center where you feed orangutans in the jungle. There is also a beautiful garden and a Botanical Research Center. ( F , L )
Day 6: Kayaking
Today you will kayak down the Sarawak River, towards the hidden waterfalls where you can explore fantastic limestone formations and jump straight into the cold water from the mountains. You cycle in terrain through the rainforest, explore the caves and relax in the beautiful nature. ( F , L , M )
Day 7: Flight to Singapore
You will be picked up at your guesthouse and driven to the airport, where you will take a flight to Singapore. You can spend the day on your own and explore one of Southeast Asia’s most modern cities. Enjoy the atmosphere in the marina or unwind among the shops on one of the city’s many shopping streets. Day 8: Transfer to Tioman
Today the trip goes by car and boat to Tioman, one of the idyllic islands along Malaysia’s east coast. After checking in at your hotel, you can take the opportunity to take a dip. ( F )
Day 9-13: Tioman on his own
There are countless things to do at your beach resort, whether you want to take a round of golf, play tennis, dive among the spectacular reefs, or snorkel and look for Nemo. You can of course enjoy total relaxation on the chalk-white beaches. ( F )
Day 14: Transfer to Singapore and return
Today you will travel by boat and car back to Singapore from where your journey home starts. ( F )
