During this tailor-made tour, you will experience the best of Bali and Lombok. The journey takes you to the unspoilt part of Lombok through traditional villages and past the most beautiful waterfalls. The next experience is beach life on the beautiful Gili Islands with its clear blue water and then Bali’s fantastic nature and culture awaits you.
Day 1: Departure from Scandinavia

Day 2: Arrival in Sanur
Upon arrival in Bali, look for your driver who is waiting for you with a sign with your name. You go directly to the hotel in Sanur, a drive of about 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Day 3: Sanur
The day after arrival, an information meeting will take place at Jysk Service Center, where you will receive practical information about your trip. Sanur is one of the more peaceful and tranquil areas of Bali. There is a cozy promenade where you can experience the sunrise over Bali early in the morning. There are many restaurants and good shopping. The opportunities to rent a bike and experience the city on your own are also available. ( F )
Day 4: Sanur – Cruise to Nesa Lembongan / Nusa Penida
South of Bali is the beautiful island of Nusa Lembongan. You travel there with either Bali Hai II or the Aristocat catamaran (depending on the day of departure). Upon arrival on the island, you have a plethora of options to choose from that are all included in the price. You can, among other things, go on a trip to the countryside, go on a snorkeling safari, paddle a kayak or go “banana boat”. If you want to try something new, you can visit a pearl farm and see how the exclusive pearls are grown. Today’s program also includes a large lunch buffet. ( F , L )
Day 5: Sanur – motorboat to Lombok
You will be picked up at your hotel and driven to the northern part of Sanur, where you hop on the motorboat to Lombok (about 2.5 hours). You arrive at the coastal town of Telok Code, where your English-speaking driver welcomes you and drives you along the beautiful coast to your hotel, which is located just on the outskirts of Sengiggi town. Here you can relax by the pool, go for a walk by the beach or take a trip to Sengiggi town. ( F )
Day 6: Södra Lombok – visit to traditional villages
After breakfast, you will join an exciting car ride with an English-speaking driver, where you will experience the best sights on the southern part of the island of Lombok. This part of Lombok is untouched and everyday life has not been so much affected by tourism. The nature is different than in Bali, but still very beautiful. On the way south you visit Banyumulek, where very special ceramic crafts are made. In addition, we make a stop at the hard-working weavers in Sukarara, who are known for their production of the famous garment “ikat”. On the south coast you will be able to take a dip in the sea and then a good lunch awaits. On the way back we visit the traditional Sasak villages, where the original Lombok residents live. ( F , L )
Day 7: North Lombok – hike to Sendang Gila Waterfall
After breakfast, the northern part of Lombok is waiting to be explored. In clear weather you can enjoy the fantastic views of the beautiful coast, and after a 20 minute hike you will reach one of the spectacular waterfalls found on the island. Along the way you pass several plantations, rice fields and small villages where there are not many tourists. Lunch is enjoyed at a good local restaurant. Late in the afternoon you will return to your hotel. ( F , L )
Day 8: Transport to Gili Air or Gili Trawangan
Today the journey continues to the famous Gili Islands, which are located outside the northwestern part of Lombok. After breakfast you will be picked up and driven to Bangsal, where you hop on a local boat to either Gili Air or Gili Trawangan. ( F )
Day 9-11: Gili Air or Gili Trawangan
The islands offer opportunities for relaxation, snorkeling and diving. Gili Air – the smallest of the three islands is only 5 km in circumference and you can walk around the island. There is peace and quiet here, but the island is also under development. There are a number of restaurants on the southeastern part of the island, and city life has become a little more noticeable. You can get around the island by bike or cidomo (horse and carriage). The island is suitable for both travelers of all ages. Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three islands with a circumference of 7 km. It is described in all tourist books as very lively, but there are definitely areas in the north and west that are peaceful. The northeast side, with its long beach area, is an ideal place for snorkeling and there is the opportunity to see sea turtles. You can also paddleboard and surf. The southeastern part is “livelier”. Here the restaurants are side by side with local shops. (F )
Day 12: Motor boat from Gili Air / Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai – Ubud
Transfer by motorboat from Gili Air / Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai and then bus to your hotel in Ubud. ( F )
Day 13-14: Ubud
There is a lot to see and do in Ubud. The city is Bali’s artistic center, offering everything in yoga and meditation along with good hiking trails among the rice fields outside the city. There are also many interesting shops, museums, galleries and beautiful dance performances. If you are a little adventurous, you can go rafting down the rivers, cycle or climb either Batur (1717 masl) or the 142 meter high volcano Agung. Also pay a visit to the interesting markets and the unique restaurants. ( F )
Day 15: Ubud – visit Tirta Empul – coffee plantation – volcano Batur – Lovina
After breakfast it carries off. You visit the beautiful and often well-visited temple Tirta Empul, where the Balinese themselves go for purification and to fetch holy water for their many ceremonies. Then the journey continues to one of the many coffee plantations where you can see how Balinese coffee is grown. We continue up into the mountains to the large Kintamani crater. From here you can enjoy the view of the volcano Batur (1717 masl), one of Bali’s active volcanoes. Here you can enjoy a good lunch in a beautiful environment. The road winds further up in the mountains and along the route there are many fantastic viewpoints. The journey continues through the former northern Balinese capital Singaraja. Late in the afternoon you reach Lovina. ( F )
Day 16-17: Lovina
Some adventurous days await you on the northern coast of Bali. Join a boat trip at sunrise and experience Bali’s northern beautiful coast from the sea. You can also hike up the mountains or to the “hidden waterfall” Lemukih. It is an exciting experience to visit the Buddhist temple early in the morning. Lovina is known for its black lava beaches and its calm pace. The beach overlooks the beautiful volcanoes of Java. ( F )
Day 18: Lovina – Banjar’s hot springs – Munduk – Beduguk – Bratansjön – Kuta
Today it’s time to leave the northern part of Bali. You travel south and on the way a stop awaits in Banjar for a visit to the hot springs. These hot springs are located in tropical surroundings and consist of several different pools that you can swim in. They are all heated from the underground. Many locals come here to swim in the water, which they consider healing, thanks to the sulfur and the fact that the water is heated. The journey continues along the beautiful scenic roads up to the Munduk waterfall, which is Bali’s largest waterfall. Here you get to experience magnificent viewpoints by the two lakes before driving down to Bratansjön, where the water goddess’s temple, Pura Ulun Danu, is located. The area also has a pagoda for Buddhists and a mosque for Muslims. So it’s an area that ’embraces’ Bali’s different religions. Afterwards, a stop awaits in the town of Bedugul, where you visit the famous market of the same name. Spices, flowers, fruit and more are sold here. After exploring the market, the journey continues along small roads towards the Kuta area. (F )
Day 19: Kuta
Enjoy the last day of the trip. Watch the sunset, shop or take a walk along the beach. You can also try surfing, for which Kuta is world famous. ( F )
Day 20: Departure from Bali
After breakfast there is some free time before you have to check out. You will be picked up and driven to the airport. The time depends on your flight. ( F )
