Day 1: Departure from Scandinavia

You travel from Scandinavia to Bali, Indonesia.

Day 2: Arrival in Sanur

Upon arrival in Bali, look for your driver who is waiting for you with a sign with your name. You go directly to the hotel in Sanur, a drive of about 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Day 3-4: Sanur

The day after arrival, an information meeting will take place at Jysk Service Center, where you will receive practical information about your trip. Sanur is one of the more peaceful and tranquil areas of Bali. There is a cozy promenade where you can experience the sunrise over Bali early in the morning. Enjoy the food at one of the city’s many restaurants or go shopping. You can also rent a bike and experience the city on your own. ( F )

Day 5: Sanur-Batubulan-Celuk-Ubud

On this day you will have the opportunity to experience the traditional and very interesting baron dance in the village of Batubulan. Then the journey continues to Celuk to see the beautiful “filigree” silver jewelry made in Bali in the local silver workshops. You can also view the beautiful Balinese wood crafts. At noon you will reach the very charming cultural city of Ubud. You stay in a hotel on the outskirts of the city. From your hotel there is a free shuttle bus to the city center, otherwise you can reach the city on foot in about 15 minutes. ( F )

Day 6-7: Ubud

Ubud with surroundings offers a lot to see and do. This is Bali’s artistic center, which is also known for yoga, meditation and relaxing spa stays. There are many interesting shops, museums, galleries and not least dance performances in the city. If you are a little adventurous, you can go rafting down the rivers, cycle or climb either Batur (1717 masl) or the volcano Agung (3142 masl). Also pay a visit to the interesting markets and the unique restaurants in the city. In addition, Ubud has many great hiking trails just outside the city that you can explore on your own. ( F )

Day 8: Ubud-Gili Air

You will be picked up from your hotel in Ubud and driven to Padang Bai. From there you take a motorboat to Gili Air via Lombok. The boat trip takes about two hours and you will arrive around noon. ( F )

Day 9-13: Beach holiday at exotic Gili Air

During the following days, relaxation on the island of Gili Air is on the schedule. Here you can snorkel and dive. The island has a circumference of 5 km and a walk around the island is a wonderful experience. There is peace and quiet here but the island is also under development. There are a number of restaurants on the southeastern part of the island and city life has become a little more noticeable. ( F )

Day 14: Gili Air – Padang Bai – Sanur

You take a motorboat from Gili Air via Gili Trawangan to Padang Bai. Then a bus waits for your hotel in Sanur and you will arrive in the afternoon. You can end the trip on the beach or by the pool and summarize your impressions from the trip. ( F )

Day 15: Sanur-Denpasar Airport

After breakfast there is some free time before you have to check out. During the day you will be picked up and driven to the airport. ( F )

Day 16: Arrival in Scandinavia
